In every story in the Bible, God is up to one thing--helping people find their way back to Him. As soon as Adam and Eve brought sin and death into the world, God put His plan into action to restore our relationship with Him. At just the right time, He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross, rise again and provide the way back to Him. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6.
In the story of your life, God is up to one thing--helping you find your way back to Him. He may use a person or a situation or a church to help you get there. We've met a lot of people whose stories go like this..."I used to go to church, but I...went off to college, got divorced, lost interest, blah blah blah...and I just drifted away. Believe it or not, that's our natural human tendency. MyChurch is here to help you find your way back--not to church or religion, but to real life with God.
